Year 4 - Winter scenes

The penultimate week of Term 2 has been fantastic. In Geography, as part of our enquiry 'How and why do places change?', we've been comparing maps of Clifton from 1889 to the present day and noticing similarities and differences. We've also been busy doing Christmas crafts and the children have all created gorgeous multimedia winter scenes. Alongside this, we've been reading as many Christmas/Winter themed books as possible, which has made us even more excited by the prospect of snow next week! To continue the winter theme, our writing this week has been based on the John Lewis Christmas advert from 2020 and the children have been planning some great diary entries from the perspective of Edgar the Dragon.
