w/c 1st June

Message from Mrs Jones

Hi Year 6. We hope you’re well and had a good half term in all the beautiful weather!

Well it’s a new term-Term 6!!  and a time for more exciting learning opportunities! Keep up the hard work and please send us examples of anything you’re doing at home – we love seeing them!

Year 5

Hello you lovely lot! We hope you’ve all enjoyed your weeks rest from work and are looking forward to getting stuck into some new activities. Make sure that you share your time equally this week between completing your home learning and having fun in the sun (well, maybe not exactly equally: I mean, how often do we get weather like this in England?) We’ve loved seeing the work which you are sending into us – please keep it coming!

Hello wonderful Year 4 and welcome to Term 6…we can’t quite believe that it’s already June! We hope you all had an amazing half term and enjoyed the glorious weather. It’s been so hot in Bristol that both of us felt we had been transported abroad for the week. We can’t wait to share more amazing learning with you this term and we hope you’re excited for some new challenges.

Year 3

Hello you wonderful lot! How was your May half term? Fun-filled, action-packed and exciting? Relaxed, stress-free, and calming? Either way we hope you were able to enjoy yourselves. As you know the weather has been mind-blowingly superb. Both Miss Riddiford and Mr Curry have been lapping up the gorgeous sunrays and found time to unwind and ready ourselves for the next few months!

Hi Year 2s, welcome back after the half term break.  I hope you enjoyed the rest and had plenty of fun in the lovely sunshine.  This term we are going to be doing lots of activities based on the story ‘Where the Wild Things Are’ by Maurice Sendak.  This is our Power of Reading book for this term.  Some of you may know the story already.

Hi Year 1. Welcome to Term 6!  We hope you enjoyed lots of fun in the sunshine over ‘half term’.  A new term means a new Power of Reading story and we are excited to announce that this term we are going to be working on ‘Where The Wild Things Are’ by Maurice Sendak.  I’m sure lots of you have heard the story already and we hope you enjoy exploring it even more.  Here are this week’s home learning activities…

Hello Reception children and families! We hope you’ve had a great week off home learning and enjoyed the amazing sunshine! I am sure there was paddling pool fun, ice creams and other sunny weather activities! We really miss you all and cannot wait to hear all about what you have been getting up to!
