Test Results

At Christ Church School, pupils consistently reach standards above the national average. This applies in Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 for nearly all groups in all core subjects.

Progress is good across the school and in some aspects, such as Key Stage 2 Reading, it is ‘significantly above’ average.

Phonics

  • Attainment in phonics was outstanding in 2017, with 100% of the cohort reaching the expected standard in the phonics check. There has been an increase in attainment over the last three years.

Key Stage 1

  • Attainment at the end of KS1 in 2017 was excellent with all groups in all subject exceeding the national average.

Key stage 2

  • Attainment in 2017 in all the subjects and for all groups was above the national average.
