Reception cooking with Square Food Company

Today the reception children had a proper cooking lesson from The Square Food Company to make delicious vegetarian pasties. Charlotte (Freddie's mummy) and her amazing team showed us how to roll out the pastry, choose our cheese filling (Cheddar or goat) pop fresh peas for our filling, fold over and then egg our pasty to make it golden brown in the oven! The children got to bring their culinary creations home and if you are at a loose end over the holidays the recipe is in their bags for you to have a go at home. Happy cooking RRP and RVG!
